Most people that decide to build their bodies through weight training seem to concentrate on their upper body and completely ignore their legs. This is probably because working out on leg muscles is difficult and very draining. However training your leg muscles teaches you the correct breathing techniques and expands your lung capacity. You can hold your breath doing almost any exercise, you can cheat on breathing doing almost any exercise, but you can’t do that while training leg muscles.
Why is that you may ask? Because it is impossible to correctly work out your leg muscles without the deep breathing intake (through your nose) and the expelling the air through your mouth as you complete your repetition. You will burn maximum fat while working on your leg muscles, you’ll expand your chest cavity, you’ll improve your lung capacity and you will gain additional strength throughout your whole body. The whole body is connected; therefore it is impossible not to affect your whole body when doing any exercise.
