How is it that do some fit people don’t even seem to try to stay in shape and I can’t get results after a whole year of trying?
Two of the major issues with attempting to lose weight is “Self-imposed Guilt” and feeling like a failure thus “giving up”
Looking at others that seem to be successfully accomplishing weight loss and fitness and believing that it can never happen to you, is a defeating attitude. Positive thinking and being determined about your goal is the first step to success. You WILL fail many times, yet you’ll get back up, dust yourself off, learn from your failure and then move forward to success. Habits can equal the difference between a really fit person—and a couch potato.
Some of the things that will help you reach that success are:
- Never obsess about every calorie.
Look forward to your daily workout (make it fun)
- Eat dessert without feeling guilty.
- Built up a set of comfortable habits over the years that allows you to stay in shape.
- Don’t diet – Listen to your body’s needs.
- Find exercises that you enjoy and change them frequently.
- Prioritize health and fitness.
- Get lots of sleep.
- Hang around with “like” people.
- Always find ways to stay active throughout the day.
- Know that you won’t always eat right.
