THE CORE:
The center of all being, the control system to every body movement… Disconnect from it and you are on your own… Use it properly and success is inevitable
THE CORE:
The most important part of the body that must be activated in any and all exercising is “the core.” To successfully execute a correct fitness program to avoid getting hurt and get maximum results from your training each time you must activate the core. Activating the Core while exercising is the first and most important action to be taken if we want to achieve peak performance and avoid pulling muscles or causing injury.
When it comes to activating the core of the body, most people that exercise concentrate solely on core exercise, and totally ignore keeping the core activated in all the exercises are they do. Even those that spend a lot of time on aerobic time machines such as the elliptical machine, the stair stepper, the bike, and recumbent bike fail to keep the core activated throughout the whole workout.
For those that want to get the best improvement out of their workouts, activating the core is a must. However activating the course for all of the exercising, will reduce the amount of time that one can work out. The reason for this is because keeping the core active at all times is extremely exhausting and it is difficult for most people.
My suggestion is to pick a particular exercise or a set of exercises from your workout and practice maintaining the core active throughout all of those. Once that becomes a normal thing for you to do, then you can slowly integrate that one at a time with the rest of your exercises.
Using the Core of the body correctly is one of the major aspects of any fitness program that wants to achieve maximum success. Whether you are a teen or a senior citizen or anywhere in between, male or female, implementing the use of the core in your exercises, it is still beneficial.
