If you are going to build a clay statue, the work of your lifetime, the one that will leave behind your ultimate legacy and choose to use more water than clay in your formulation, no matter how hard you try to make that statue, all you’ll get is mud. Similarly when you are trying to build a good, fit body you need to think about the materials (food) you’ll need to do so. Similarly to the watered-down clay, you can’t put junk in your body and expect to produce a muscular body.
For a fitness program, an exercise or physical activity to have maximum results, it needs the right nutrition, not food by name, like apple, bread, cake, pasta, etc., but nutrients like protein, complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, etc., if those foods don’t have the necessary nutrients, you might as well be chewing on wood for your health.
Set yourself up for success. Just as you’d clear the pantry of temptations when starting on a sound nutritional program, you should also set up your environment for exercise success. Make it easy for yourself to workout, whether it’s to do it at home, have equipment at home or join a 24/7 club so you can always get there, make it enjoyable, own it, make it your lifetime project if you want good quality of life throughout your lifetime.
That’s the reason for eating organic, because organic food has the nutrients that the body requires to build up. The body won’t respond properly to food without nutrients, or with chemicals, or junk food, or excessive sugar. If you really want to build yourself into a statue, the work of your lifetime, the one that will leave behind your ultimate legacy…you will need the correct nutrition in addition to a fitness program, otherwise you’ll just be building a pig, they eat anything.
