The first meal of the day is particularly important because it sets the pace for the rest of the day. That being said it doesn’t mean that breakfast should be eaten as soon as you get up from bed in the morning.
Allow your body to guide you as to when it requires nutrition. Many people make the mistake to load themselves with sugary foods during breakfast because it gives them an instant surge of energy, however that’s followed within a couple hours by a fast crash which leads to donuts, candy and cake to try to survive the crash. This creates an ugly vicious circle that makes it impossible to remain thin and in shape.
