Most people come to me trying to lose a great deal of weight in the shortest time possible. They don’t take into account or care of the damage that rapid weight loss can do to the body as well as the repercussions of gaining that weight back plus more because of not adapting to the proper lifestyle.
To be able to lose weight properly and keeping it off forever takes the ability to be able to listen to our bodies, understand the damage that “bad” nutrition causes, and understand why portion control can be an almost impossibility when we are addicted to junk foods.
Losing weight as well as building muscle is done in the kitchen and the body is then chiseled in the gym. Fad diets, food restriction, complicated methods of calorie counting, and excessive workouts are a recipe for failure.
