Exercise can be fun … and social! As matter of fact gyms have become the bars of the 80’s for those that don’t drink but want to socialize while staying healthy.
Exercise and physical activity can be enjoyable. As matter of fact it is imperative that you make your physical activity always enjoyable. Exercise gives you a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy. Physical activity can also help you connect with family or friends in a fun social setting.
Exercising is a mental clearing, physical improving activity that can help in many areas of your life and keep you from depression, negativity, lethargies, excessive eating, eating junk and give you far more clear thinking. It is you and your time alone when you exercise, and it can be you and your best friend or a group of people if you wish.
So take a dance class, hit the hiking trails or join a soccer team. Find a physical activity you enjoy, and just do it. Bored? Try something new or do something with friends or family.
Exercise and physical activity are great ways to feel better, boost your health and have fun. Don’t make the mistake of doing exercises that take too much of your time, are too difficult, add to your stress, make you overeat when you are done, make you diet, or make you hate it so much you want to quit.
Don’t forget that games or activities like tennis, racquetball, hiking, volleyball, badminton, soccer, croquet, sightseeing, window shopping, etc., are all good physical activities that you might enjoy doing.
