When we’re young some embark on fitness programs either to get stronger so you can make first string in the school’s football, basketball or any other team.
Others get on a workout program because they want to improve their appearance. Whatever the reason may be, the unfortunate thing is that we don’t learn the correct way of working out without avoiding injury.
The most important factor for fitness is longevity and a good quality of life and such can not be achieved if your life is riddled with extreme pain and the need for surgery.
Work out to achieve longevity and to do so you have to work out to strengthen your bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves in your body.
Don’t workout like an athlete if you are not going to be one, for the lifespan of an athlete is 5 to 15 years, after that there’s a life of pain aches and surgeries. Athletes sacrifice their bodies for fame and money, why do you sacrifice yours for?
